The Forever Fight– Discussion and brief depiction of cheating (at the beginning, not by a main character), discussion/depiction of loss and grief The Perfect Love– The FMC in this book is recovering after rape, and thus rape and sexual assault are heavy themes for this book. Other than brief retellings of her story, her rape is not on page. Other triggers in this book include: heavy discussions of loss & ongoing grief, suicide attempt (non main character-slit wrists, not described in heavy detail), alcohol/medication overdose (non main character). The Future Play– The female character in this book faces negative comments about her weight and fatphobia (in comments/ the press) and sometimes thinks negatively about her weight. She also struggles with rejection sensitivity and intrusive negative thoughts about herself. The male character in the book struggles with his mental health & occasionally partakes in underage drinking.
